Cinzia’s involvement with Women with Latitude began in 2013 when she filled in as a guest Director. After she rehearsed and directed the very successful Adelaide Fringe performances that the choir shared with The Spooky Men of the West in 2014 and 2015, she then became the full-time Music Director from September 2015.
Cinzia graduated from Adelaide University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Music Education, and, in 2017, completed a Masters in Education. Away from the choir, she is appointed as the Head of Music at St John’s Grammar School, Belair, and runs 7 choral ensembles within the school. For 10 years, she was also a Senior Choral Tutor for the Australian Girls Choir.
Her school choirs have won multiple awards at the Adelaide Choral Eisteddfod, and at the Generations in Jazz Music Festival in Mt Gambier, and she brings the same commitment to perfection and musical detail to Women with Latitude.
In 2011, Cinzia was one of 19 teachers in Australia to win the NEITA Inspirational Teacher Award for South Australia, after the St John’s Grammar School community nominated her.
As a performer, Cinzia has been a member of the Adelaide Symphony Chorus, performing in Mahler Symphony no 8, Brahms ‘German Requiem’, Camina Burana and Beethoven Symphony no 9.
